Expert Dedicated is a subsidiary of Expert Colocation, and as such will be referred to as 'Expert Colocation' for the entirety of this document to reduce confusion regarding the two brands.
We at Expert Colocation are so confident in the services that we offer, and in our pricing, that if you find a lower price on a plan equivalent to the EXPERT Dedicated Plan, we will agree to match that price, or let you out of your contract with no further obligation. Why? From the research we've done, we are currently offering the lowest available pricing in our region for reliable colocation services. Given tough economic times, it helps to choose a company that will always guarantee the lowest available price -- both now and in the future. By signing up with Expert Colocation, you effectively lock yourself into our low pricing for the remainder of your contract term. Should changes in the industry cause pricing to drop, you are protected by our low price guarantee!
Terms and Conditions:
1) The low price guarantee applies only to the EXPERT Dedicated Plan. The EXPERT Dedicated Plan includes one 1U server with a Q6600 CPU, 6GB Ram, 1.3 TB of hard drive space, and 100Mbps of unmetered, unlimited usage Internet connectivity. Further details on these plans may be viewed here.
2) In order for Expert Colocation to match pricing or release our clients from their contracts, we must be presented with proof of lower pricing offered by a qualified competitor on a plan that matches or exceeds these specifications. This means that the plan must include a server with a loadout comparable to the EXPERT Dedicated Plan, 24/7 unattended facility access, 20A of 120VAC UPS and generator protected power, and 100Mbps of unmetered, unlimited usage Internet connectivity.
3) A "qualified competitor" must be a Colocation company or organization that offers services similar to Expert Colocation, and must be within a 25 mile radius of Reston, VA. The competitor must have been in business for a minimum of 2 years, and must have its own autonomous system number and buy full IP transit from at least 2 tier 1 networks via a minimum of two 10 gigabit connections. The competitor must have a minimum of 20,000Mbps of Internet capacity on site.
4) Expert Colocation may require up to 2 weeks to evaluate your request. Clients are expected to keep their accounts current until the request has been validated. Expert Colocation will provide a response to each client request within 2 weeks, at which point, if Expert Colocation is unable to match pricing, the client will be released from their contract with Expert Colocation with no further obligation. Clients are required to pay for all services that have been rendered, for both support and monthly colocation services.
5) Requests will only be honored for clients who are not in default, and whose accounts are currently in good standing with the Expert Colocation Accounting department.
